So the lower you set ACC, the faster the ESC will add an additional step in boost timing to the motor, which means faster acceleration, but more heat.
Yes, it works together with boost start RPM.
Thank you. i thaught it worked that way, but helping a couple in Stock, so those settings were new to me. rather know what they are for 100% than to start playing with other peoples gear.

Default SC10 4x4 Motor/esc recom.

Hey all. Just wondering if anybody has a recommendation for motor/esc combo for the new AE SC10 4x4. Have read a bit about the different combos out and a little confused about what would be the best setup to go for. Speed Passion of course.

Not sure if any of there 1/10th esc's will handel the power from a 550. but i would go with the Speedpassions ARROW with a 4.5 or 5.5 550 motor

Default 508 options

Can someone please give me a list of what settings are available when running the 508 software on a GT2.1 speedy?

Cheers

1. Running Mode
2. Drag Brake
3. Low Voltage Cut-Off
4. DRRS (Punch/Throttle Curve)
5. Brake Force
6. Reverse Force (More reverse usually means more brakes on running mode 1)
7. Inital Brake Force
8. Dead Band
10. Over Heat Protection

you need to read and understand this..

Support up to 4 cell lipo with 3000KV motor.
Support both sensor and sensor less motor

Silver Arrow II ESC is best to be used on 3 or 4 cells lipo power.
If using 2 cells lipo powered vehicle, please use our GT2.0 Pro series ESC.

that is in the info on the website, a 5.5 550 SP motor is 3900 KV

I asked Howard about this in a previous post, he didn't respond to it. they way I read it, SP is recommending that the silver arrow/5.5 combo package they sell only be used on 3s, although they don't come right out and say it.

if it were me, I would go with a 2.0 pro esc, and 7.5 or 8.5 540 mod motor,

I'm assuming your running on 2s.

Correct. This setup will be going into an SC10 4x4 which can only run a 2s lipo. Have seen quite a bit of talk here and there saying that a 4.5t-5.5t 550 size is the preferred motor to go for but not to sure on the SP motors as they dont give the same specs info or dimensions as the likes of LRP and Tekin etc. Cheers for the help.

First day running the 323stock software in 13.5 boosted 1/12th with a TP motor with 10deg of timing. I started with the default settings and a rollout of 66mm. Car ran a fast lap of 9.8. Changed the boost timing to 40deg from 36deg and bumped the rollout to 69mm. Car ran a fast lap of 9.7. Next race I turned the boost back down to 36deg and droped the turbo open acc to 6deg from 18deg. Same rollout as last run car ran a 9.6. Next race I droped the turbo open to .1 and drop the rollout to 64mm. Car ran a 9.5. I have never run speed passion before so this is all new to me. We run 1 qual. and 3 mains, the motor temp all day was 120-123deg. Although I won all three mains the other brand speedo was running 9.3 laps and killing me down the straight. Any suggestions to my setup are welcome. We won't be racing for three weeks so I will again be testing then. Thanks Frank

Drop your start rpm and timing acc. Sounds to me your car isn't winding out. Is your car still wanting to accelerate at the end of the straight?

Here is what I know...Marc won the race at REEDY race in USA (actually, Marc, Victor and Atsushi Hara) all using 205G along with 4.0T motor. (you can find the video on youtube)

Then, Marc, Yanni and others...ran the 323stock with 4.0T motor at ETS event (also can be found on youtube). You can compare that 2 track, the ETS is 50% bigger then the Reedy track.
Hey,

Has anyone found that running 323 stock software in MOD is terrible??? Its got wild top speed, but the driveablility is %^&* to say the least???

Whats the secret with running 323 in MOD and making the driveability work???

Thanks in advance
