And Oli, I pretty much ended up on thoose settings as well with the 107 on 10.5.. apart from this weekend when I was experimenting (must learn to stop fiddling when something works )

Adam: I sent this to Shawn but I figure you may know about this too, have you ever seen this before:

This is the programmer you guys sent out to me, do you know how I can get those pixels unstuck? Other than this it works fine though.

A question about profiles, when you switch between them, do you need to reset your radio to your ESC?

I haven't seen that?

and yes, every time you change software you need to recalibrate your esc to your radio

Start with 4.8 final with AMTS to 22.50 (7) DRRS (7 or 8). V3 11.5 timing in middle (default). Check motor temperature after 3 minutes. Keep below 170F.

Don't be afriad to keep gearing up....I always start something (SLOW) so I don't have to fry the speedo/motor within 3 minutes....motor temperature is your best friend here.

Should I send it in or do you think it will be fine like this? Works fine right now, just not sure if it will be an issue in the future.

just to clarify, so changing the profile on the programmer also changes the software?

Did you guys get any more LCD programmers in?

Cain....Adam was meant the Software and I will try to clarify that with you.

Under BASIC tab, the Profile/Mode You can create 3 different setting and save these 3 settings under only ONE software version (under software tab). On the other term, each SOFTWARE VERSION can have 3 different settings for user to SAVE.

In this case, lets say you are using version 091110STOCK under SOFTWARE VERSION....after uploaded that version of software onto your GT2, you MUST reset and recalibrate your speedo/remote.

Now...you want to change setting, start up the LCD programmer, go to Profile/Mode and choose Mode 0 and do your DRRS AMTS or whatever setting that you want....go to profile and NAME that setting (ie. 13.5 Rubber 01) and hit APPLY and that would save it. Then you can change to Profile/Mode to Mode 1 and do another changes...once they are done, create another name called 13.5 Rubber 02 and hit apply.

To answer your question...changing between Mode 0, mode 1 and mode 2 DOES NOT require radio/speedo recalibration. AS LONG AS they are all under the same SOFTWARE VERSION that you were using prior.

It gets a bit confusing seeing they call the esc firmware "software" as well.

I got that alot...had plenty of phone call, email and fax looking for the position "Software ARCHITECT" when my company is looking for the real licensed "ARCHITECT".....

Btw...fireware vs software, who incharge of whom? On Speed Passion...its only refer to "Software", not firmware.

Some bonehead questions:

what is drrs start mode ?
is there somewhere I can go to see how much gearing I should be running and what timing I should be running for each motor ?
