Not any more unless you buy the alloy pivot blocks. Otherwise you add spacers under the camber plate to raise the angle or add spacers under the balls on the camber plate to lower the angle of the arms.

My son and I have built 2 of the CX's, both went together well, one tip is to put a small amount of oil or spit onto the "O" rings on the diff outdrives to help the slider insert slip over the "O" ring and lock in position. As for option parts we run the twin steering assembly and HPI silver springs.

Regards
Gary

if thats the twin steering rack part number, then sorry it won't fit, if its the Mi4 steering then yes it will fit. but i had to do something that i don't remember right now to make it work, I think I had to use a part from the mi3 rack on the mi4 rack to make it work, don't remember which one.

As a man who has run xray for the last 2 years and doesnt have an '11 yet this CX looks really nice. I am on the verge of ordering. Some thoughts on which tuning options are must haves? EG Sway bar kits, springs and the various washer/clip/ packs and which are more wants? EG Big bore shocks, CF Trans links, option CF upper link mounts?

Should i get some HPI springs to run with the standard shocks?

Thoughts are appreciated, Benzaah

Some washer packs, sway bars, trans links, and camber link mounts are all great tuning tools for the Mi4 platform. The Schumacher springs are good, but more often then not I find myself running the Xray springs.

You can have my setup. It was good enough to win the season with the lp at my local.

One thing i would say is the Cx bites in harder to a corner and has much more mid corner steering. Using the flex front yokes on carpet (standard Kit) might be a bit of a handful if the grip comes up.
