do you think they will jump on the bandwagon of releasing a new kit every year?

HarryN 04-02-2009 09:14 AM

Holy moly! Nice to see they have NiMH batteries still in mind...

The days of old still reign supreme in designer's minds. :D

Definitely looks like a sweet car. Kudos to Schumacher!

do you clamp the motor in then slide it to get mesh??

Hyde 04-02-2009 09:29 AM

the car before this one was so complex. what could make thus car even beteer? ZERO GRAVITY HUBS??? sweet!

this car is getting more crazy in designs its weird to think about... what's next for all the other companys to raise the bar!

over all I give a two thumbs up

chensleyrc1 04-02-2009 09:34 AM

Looks like a very good rubber tire car. Wonder what if any parts change for foam?

STLNLST 04-02-2009 09:34 AM

I'm curious to see how the motor stays mounted since it doesn't have the traditional mount. I also want to know when Aaron Young is getting the car so folks in Norcal can take a look at it.

The race is on.....The MI4 or the new TOP car....what will hit the racing scene first?????

Anyone want to post some attached pics? The school computers are blocking the site.:flaming:

Well that certainly looks different! Nice to see some innovation in the TC market again!

You're there to learn:ha::ha::ha::ha:

chensley:

Chris Grainger (UK national champion) spent a month on the carpet during testing so far, and Mike Haynes (2009 ROAR national champion) will continue US development on the rug as well.

There will be chassis and topdeck options for carpet that I believe will be far superior to anything we've had before.

Mick:
Clamp motor mounting so you can remove the motor without disturbing gear mesh. It also allows for side-to side motor adjustment for balance as well.

The coolest thing to me, is that the center spur/layshaft assembly can be "flipped" for even more side-to-side motor weight adjustments.

that's no race for TOP.
That is no competitor for TOP as it has the same quality as the mi3 has on the moment.

A club member has 2 mi3's. he bought last monday a TOP and he tested it yesterday. Now he is going to race sunday with the TOP.
He is going to sell his mi3's and buys the new TOP as it comes.
That was the last mi3 driver at my club.
more than 50% of the drivers hath one and they didn't now how fast they hath to get an other car.
And this mi4 looks like that it has the same quality as the mi3.
I think that schumacher will get it hard to get drivers again around here.
This moment it's Xray, TRF, Hotbodies and TOP is growing and it will grow further with the photon.

nice try from schumacher but i think that it will not be popular around here anymore.

Not sure how you'd flip it?

Nice motor mount. I am really annoyed too when I have to readjust gear mesh every time I take the motor out.
