Yes it feels like a one-way going into the turn off power and feels like a spool coming out

Running a one-way gives you no front brakes and this setup does not do that.
It feels that I have the benefit of a one-way with brakes

I think more people will be trying out this set up with great results.

Marcos, would it be possible to send me your setup? I've not had a chance to get to the track and test out the gear diffs...

THX in advance...

Did you take out any shims out of the diffs, I took out one of the larger ones on each side and the diff is insanely smooth.

I've been thinking about that, how is the play after that's done? It also doesn't seem like the diff has bearings on the out drives, they don't spin that free when disassembled.

Actually, when I took them out it spun more freely. It's so smooth now the drive train doesn't move when I turn the wheel without a pinion and only the wheel on the opposite side moves the opposite side.

I didn't like the gear diff in the front with lighter oil. Even 80k made the front inside tire unload and caused the car to push on power and made it lazy in fast transitions. With 100k in the front, it was a different story. The car pulls hard out of the corners, transitions well and has more steering into the turn. My rear gear diff with 10k is starting to wear in very nicely. I tried 20k in the rear, but gained more steering with the 10k. I'm getting some 120k to try out like Marcos' setup, but until then, I'm happy with the way the car is performing.

i remember from back in the day on my nitro car i started with 60,000 and i keep going up until I found the best feel and that was the 120,000 i tried it on my Top car and its working great!! I heard of some guys having issued with unloading but with 120,000 i havent noticed any.

I'm running 100K / 15K, the car turns in well and doesn't flake out on exit. I'm sure Marcos setup with 120K / 10K will be even better.

I ordered 3, 2 for me, one from a friend and one of the three was leaking a little out of the package, I made that one my front diff since it was going to have sludge in it anyway RCMarket has a rebuild kit now, it looks like there are some orings you can replace.
