Keep checking. When they do get the kits, they sell fast. Last shipment it took about 3 days to sell out.

Wow that diff is tiny, I would also love to see the guts in it, from what I read though will it take modern mod power when it's that small?.

On the Photon chassis, from what I have seen there is an old and new LiPo chassis, old has no holes for LiPo lugs, new does and it also has a full cut out around motor with bolt on brace bit.
In terms of kits some confusion seems to surround what version will come with what chassis now, although it looks like no new chassis will come with the tricky new looking aloy lipo mounts or strap.

Still I think I may be happy with just the normal version, and then get the 'full' LiPo chassis 'kit' with all the new bits, but that does push the price into other brand ranges.

Agreed. If im spending 380$, i want the new ish. All of it. If i have to spend more coin to bring the chassis up to spec, then i might as well get another brand 'X' car... although that car doesnt have a LiPo spec chassis without the cutouts. I cant believe 'they' didnt include that in the box like TOP does.

As nice as the Photon is for 100$+ less, and all the stuff you get with it, maybe brand 'X' will wake up and stop raping the public on TC prices. You can get CF sheet to build your own car for less than 100$ retail! I know aluminum aint that darn expensive...

Hey Dave. Nick and Tim are running the old car. Jamison, Fred and myself have the new one. I'll bring my box to show you what comes in the newer kits and give you a breakdown. It's definitely worth getting the newer version rather than trying to build an older kit up to new specs.
Pass you Saturday.

Just received my limited edition kit from RC market, 10 days to western Canada by mail, I'm impressed. Also impressed with the quality, excellent carbon fiber (unlike my previous T3), lipo chassis in the box, near xray quality instruction manual...Wow, better than I expected so far.

If you're switching from Xray, you'll probably be dissappointed after you drive this car......... And realize how much money you wasted on Xray.
