1,7,1,1.
Be sure to pay close attention to your motor temp by checking it every two minutes or so to keep it below 165F.
I'm sure someone else will chime in with a similar or better profile.

As a starting point I would go with profile 8 on the ESC with a 4.5 FDR for the 17.5, and a 5.5 FDR for the 13.5. Just adjust gearing based on your motor temps from there.

[QUOTE=RKeasler;6880021]At some point the motors will be at the physical limits of what they can do, regardless what the speedo says. Don't know how close we are to that for say 17.5 but update or no this cycle is finite. From what I am hearing the battle will be on at the Birds we shall see.
Its funny that you mention motor limitations.. With no mention of what electronics were being used. I heard a motor BLOW tonight at our track....poor kid. When they took it apart it the magnets were in small pieces. This happened when the car was not on the track right after it was soldered up and the motor he was running before he could not get it it run below 220 not matter what he did. All and all it was a crazy night for elctronics at our track as that wasnt the only ghost that decided to show up

Hi,
I am looking for some help with this stock spec lrp.
I have installed it in my GT car with a 3.7v lipo and 10.5 motor LRP x11 and reciever pack and the thing just seems slow as.
My tires are 56mm with a 96 spur and I was running about 56/58mmr, tire diamiter is 56mm
I was wondering if you can point me towards
What settings people are running on the speed controller
What timing on the motor
What roll out people are running
and any other tips to make this thing quick
Thanks in advance
James

Knowing your current settings for profile/motor timing will help.
I personally would try profile 8 and try 5 deg. motor timing at first.
Gear it for temp. then try 10 deg.
My theory is that lower V=lower amps= lower temp=more timing allowed.???

sorry fleetmaster, I was driving to work and realised i forgot to put that info on lol.
currently run 2/6/0/0 but also tried 2/8/0/0 in the last final
In terms of motor timing I have never really played with that as I am not sure what way to move the timing ring on the x11 I believe it is fully rotated to the left

First off...Most using 1-cell lipos use the Nimh (1) setting; so, we don't come up against the lipo cutoff. Would say that this is most important if you are using an LRP X11 10.5.
My settings on my WGT were set 1-8-1-1 with a Duo 13.5 on a medium sized carpet track.
Because you are talking about an all LRP setup (ESC and motor), I suggest that you contact "Burrito" on this website for the best answers. Burrito (Reto) works for LRP and only addresses issues their equipment. His answers are really insightful.
