Default TMYJOY TA03F

Well I don't own a rc car y believe since I was 21 now 31 a quick look to ebay change all that I found a TA03F RTR was a Audi A4STW of course bath tub chassis . I charge the battery and tested too slow. Last rc car that I drive was a Tamiya M03 mini cooper but is the mini was slow The TA03f is worse . Ok time to take a look to the internet and read about it and I find this forum. First thing I want to replace was the bath tub chassis for that sexy looking FRP chassis hard to find but my Friend IROCKFLIFLOPS don't hesitate to sell my a new spare of the lower chassis later on I find a new top part from ebay and a couple more hop ups.....

Looks like somebody has the RC bug again! She's looking good TMYjoy. Are you still running the Audi body?

CC-01 and TA-02 will fit. Stay away from the GPM alloy universals though unless you're putting them in the rear.

According to the kids tamiya club it's 175teeth and 525mm long x 4mm wide.

http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/inde...c=70807&page=6

but you should buy from irockflipflops, he has the tub, belt, and brace for the same price I paid for just a new belt (aftermarket belt...). If I had seen this thread, I'd've bought them from him. PM me if you have questions.

I'm building a TA03R-S (from a TA03R) for the re-released Lancia 037 Rally. I'm also considering copying the shell in fiberglass (maybe lexan too). Because: Racecar!

That's the same reason I ended up with a TA03R-S, for the Lancia 037 body. I ended up buying 2 Lancia 037 abs and 2 911 GT2 Taisan bodies to use with this chassis. A lexan version would be fantastic..

one roll over and that painted ABS is not going to look so nice

The horror! I've dreamed of having this as a 1/10th car for years... don't want dreams to become nightmares. I refuse to race it (or build it for that matter) until I have successfully copied the shell/decals/bits. Plus when i'm drunk with copying power I'll make a stradale 037 shell

By then I'll have taken some touring car, removed the fwd portion (RWD rocks), and shortened the decks :-)

Did you use the F103 tie rods or did you fit the aluminium steering arms on the car?

That's how it is for us vets. Subscribe to the thread.

I just sold off my Sprint 2 so i could focus on my F103/TA03RS/Cup Racer.

So what's the word on brushless sensored motors for the TA03 (RS config)?

i'm probably just going to 'use up' the silvercan w/my old HPI brushed esc first... but still i want to know.
