d'you think Lil's got a stock of that shell now? For how much? I saw a pix of Trueno at the HPI thread same as yours and also a black painted one and i think i need to get one for myself.

Maybe we can get together one time so we can tune our 03's together? My 03R has improved a lot since my first race... loosening the front ball diff made a big difference in steering...

I think this car will also do good in Rally races (in Maximum Speedway). I once drove off a canvas bag during practice in Pasig and the car just flew!!!.. no nosedives... it pointed upwards until touchdown!!! The ride height would be a problem in offroad races but not in Max Speed where the track is clean...

Bitoy, Rough512: Yeah I think we should have a brainstorm as to how we set-up our 03.... I just got mine rebuilt and I am letting go of the Carbon Fiber Decks which are not Tamiya...

I'm keeping the car as stock as possible... but I'm hoping to get my hands on soon on the TAMIYA CF Decks for the 03 PRO...hehehe... nana-naginip.....

Tamiya makes/made a saddle pack chassis for the car. Sorry, I don't know the part#. A buddy of mine has one, so they definitely do exist! You might check Ebay.

I will be racing my 03 this weekend at HobbyTown in Macon GA. I've made some changesand correct to shocks that where not the same length. The other Tamiya driver there has an 04 Pro, and this is the first time that we have gone raced against each other.
The other list of cars are HPI Pro 2 and 3 and 2 TC3's

I have a fresh 11t that I will racing with.

I have the Integy saddle pack chassis for the 03 and is actually the 2nd time I have had one. It works very well. Right now my 03 is setup for Tamiya racing so the chassis is not on at this time.

The Tamiya Vette and the Protoform Jetta body are for show right now. I will be racing the 03 with a Protoform Vette body. I usually can race six months with one body.

I raced my 03 with Type R/Dyna Run tock in Open Stock Class and Johnson Stock Motor in Tamiya Sanctioned Races.
