I would guess they are the florine coated aluminum ones offered by Tamiya
dang, the aluminium ones I have keep snapping off, which means i am going through uprights way too quickly.

I use the std steel ones in the rear hub carriers of my cars for that reason. The steel ones are a shiny black color. you could also try a screw and a ball stud nut.
