Brian, the pins on the TC3/Pro4 bones are too big compared to Tamiya/Yokomo. You'd have to grind out the outdrive slots...

I would guess that the spool will be in blue, I bet that was a prototype in the picture, seeing as the EVO spool was a drawing at the show.

It does look like a nice spool. The big question will be, how much will the delrin out-drive replacments be ??

Seeing the RCmaniax spool comes in at around 7 grams, I would be supprised if the Tamiya version is lighter.

I got my RCmaniax spools this morning, wow they are light. Even if the tamiya one is lighter i dont fancy having to pull off during a run due to one of the delrin outdrives breaking.

Yay, can't wait to try it out.... just need some 20wt oil for the rear shocks (on it's way)

Ed, you don't need to use the big spacers between the shock tower and the bulkhead. Me I've jsut removed the 2mm spacers between the ball nut and the shock tower, with the shock tower mounted as usual, and it fits.

Yeh, I thought that'd work.

The shocks aren't really vertical with this solution, but I prefer it as it removes the tweak issue that these spacers can create, plus you don't need to re-ream the bodyshell, and last but not least, can use the 5th hole in the MS shock tower.
