There is an ebay store called Walawala. You can search for it on ebay. The guys is the best for Tamiya and has the absolute best prices. He is located in Japan but I have my stuff I order from him in under 2 weeks and the shipping is cheaper than if I were to order it in the US. Check him out!

The nut holder in the diff is probably stripped. Replace it and tight the nut more carefully next time. Alternatively, you can drop a tiny bit of CA between the nut and the nut holder so the nut won't move when you try to tighten/untighten.

I run my belt one notch loose in front and 0 in the rear.

You have to get the parts tree the nut holder came with. I am not sure what the part nuber or which tree it is but you can certainly find it in the manual.

Alternative would be what i said. Use CA.

I had the same problem. The nut always slips in the tamiya diff holder...no matter how carefull I am. I normally do one of two things: put a drop of CA on the nut and the holder or use the Associated piece that has the nut molded into the plastic retainer.
When I use the Tamiya stuff, it always seems the the diff loosens too easily. With the Associated piece (the one they use for the steel outdrives only) the diff always stays as tight as i need it. The threads are different sizes (Associated nut and Tamiya screw) so I just cross thread the Tamiya Diff scew in the Associated piece. Never had any problem this way and when i set the diff it stays that way until i decide to change it.

psst. Wanna hear a little secret to the diff nut holders?

Pick up the TA04 Ball Diff Pulley #50877. It comes with a pulley you won't use but it comes with a much better diff nut holder. The plastic on this one is harder/stiffer less likely to booger on you. The tree existing 415/Evo4 nut holders come molded on are of the bumper stuff (soft) Set it and forget it!

To keep the nut holder from stripping, compress the new spring once gently with a pair of pliers. Seems to set the spring, not sure why ,but it works. Also holds the first run tension better.

I did the same thing by accident, when I put my diff together the first time I stripped it right from the start. So, I had a bunch of TA04 diff parts handy so I used one and it works great!
So far so good no slipped diff problems!!

I am not sure how you are havuing probs. I have rebulit my diff once since I got the car (3months ago) and have not had to readjust it once.

My only prob is you can't do the diff up tight enough to make increase the limited slip effect.
