But it does comes with the airduct & one-way unit that we MRE owners are waiting for.....

hmm sounds like it's the 'missing link' between MSX refine2 and the MRE.

When your source mentioned "airduct", you're talking about the alum piece that screws onto the bottom deck? The same piece that Mark & the rest of the TRF drivers were using at the 2006 IFMAR ISTC races?

Although the MSX R2 had everything, the titanium nitride coated shock shafts and hinge pins, no titanium screws though.

If Tamiya were to come out with a budget MSX/MRE it would probably have plastic diffs, nylon arms instead of graphite, ect.

Let me reliterate...titanium nitride coated shock shafts and hinge pins is not sure...Maybe they will put it in.Maybe not...But I sure they will.

i'm still using the 102T spur gear, but do you think that if i use say a 100T spur gear the belts wont be touching the steering anymore

Nope. Just add 0.2mm of shims where the silver shim goes under the steering system (the shim closest to the deck, or on it)

If your talking about droop, I think its in the memo part, 5mm front and 4mm rear. Although I don't know where on the suspension he measured it.

I'm pretty sure thats what most of the TRF drivers treat it as anyway... the longer measurements you see are it being measured off the top of the axle (a more accurate method, see here, David Jun Droop method )

Ed
hey ed think there is some confusion here rebound stroke is how far the shock shaft comes out of the body when pushed up droop is a measurment on how far the lower arms are aloud to lift two compleatly diffrent things for eg if you build your shocks with full rebound it doesn't adjust the droop measurment the same apllies if you build your shocks with no rebound or even suck back the measurement will still be the same but the car will react diffrent. i hope this makes sense.

are you at the wars this year bud
