Come on, I hope this thread doesn't die off. Well here's mine I finished up last night. Didn't black it out like I usually would. Turned out alright.

My first 1/12 scale. Here's the Db12rr, isn't a recent install, but turned out okay.

I purchased replacement pins so I could shorten my servo wires to the receiver. The replacements pin require the use of a crimp tool. The pins are the metal pieces that go into the plastic tab the plugs into the receiver.

Does anyone know what type of crimp tool you would use for the servo wires and where to buy it?

Here is an example of what I'm talking about (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXTSH2&P=ML)
Here is an article describing what I want to do (http://rcbuilder.com/lh_guide/shorte...ervo_wires.htm)

lol I just use needle nose pliers. I dont have a crimper, im sure its easier to use one. But you dont absolutely need one

Needle nose pliers would work, but I'm a bit anal about certain things. If I'm going to go through the trouble of reducing the length of the wires for my electronics, I don't want to risk failure from a poor connection.

I'm going to try a local Radio Shack and a Fry's Electronics and see what they have.
