If there is anyone out there looking to sell an excellent condition, nicely optioned A700, please PM me.

I am interested in a roller only. A front gear diff is a must for me.

Thanks

For VTA, I'm running 48 pitch, 60 tooth spur, 30 tooth pinion, on my Novak Ballistic at 40 degrees timing. That's with no top deck, but with a 1/4" x 1/2" x5.7" brass chassis stiffener on the main chassis centerline.

For USGT, 28 teeth on the pinion with a TSR 1.0 set to 39 degrees.

any mods to get a larger spur gear than 50t/64p on the A700 without removing the top plate? and... if removing the top plate run which bottom chassis stiffener on the CF chassis? im topped out gear wise @ 50/72 and the motor mount is all the way to its stops to get decent gear mesh. thanks for any input.
running 25.5 in VTA if that matters.

I'm using a 50/74 in vta. Some cases when track layout is tighter I use a 48/74. I have dremeled a little bit to have pinion clear when chassis is flexing.

Do you guys think a EVO III is on its way soon? I have been very tempted to join the awesomatix family but since the EVO II has been out for some time now, I wonder if it may be wiser to wait?

48/74 will be good gearing for Ripon for sure , ill keep that one in mind.trying to get down past 2.90 for the back stretch at Speedworld i max out about half way through it. Im going to try 51t 64p spur and dremmell down a touch, jut wondering if theres a way to " hump " that rear upper to clear without losing strength.

I very much doubt it. Oleg has focused on the belt drive platform. Parts still exist for the shaft cars, but all the development is belt car
