Hi,

I got this great car used form friend, I broke my personal best lab more than ones on my first time out.

However I have been driving this for about 2 weeks, the car feels great and easy to driv. But suddenly the car is being slow and not on pace. I can't seem to find anything wrong.
I have changed tires, made sure it was tweek free and contolled the diff is filled.

Anyone have a clue what might be worng with my car?

If you have any more details about why it's off pace, or some odd handling characteristic, that would help quite a bit.

I would suggest removing shocks and sway bars and just start checking that everything is free. Ensure the shocks feel the same, etc...

Aside from a mechanical problem, has the track changed in that time, maybe your setup just needs adjusting?

the smallest 48p gear i've ever had was from speedtech. i want to say it was a xenon gear. 66t. i'd really like to know where i can get a sub-60t 48p spur. i really enjoy running 48p outdoors.

I like the PRS ( precision racing systems ) line of Pro-lite spur gears.

Also, the white RW and the black RW for Xray both work great too.

I think 98 ( 64 pitch ) is the biggest that will fit in longitudinal orientation. Thats what I run for 4.5 to 5.0 turn motors.

I run anything from 73 to 84 in 17.5 blinky depending on the track size, indoor or outdoor and what pinions I have. So yeah, 78 is probably the sweet spot for 17.5 turn motors in blinky mode.
