I believe the less chatter is from the new style cvds.

yea, i personally prefer the oneway over either spool or diff... depending on bite level and layout. we raced a track in Texas last month that had a 180 at the end of the straight, a diff was much easier to drive there.

hopefully the multi-diff i ordered will be here by this weekend. otherwise, maybe ill "engineer" an 007 one in there for the time being.

What if you can't compete with one-way?
I use Oneway @local club all time but @bigger Trak and competition It is noticable slower against the cars Has Spool

Xray noob question.

I just got an older car (FK05) and it has a 64p spur in it. I want to go 48p. Am I looking at xray only spurs or will kimbrough's or some other fit?

I'm just getting back into racing, but in aother thread someone made a point that made sense to me.

With a one way, he finds other drivers lines predictable because of the lack of braking.

He like the spool since allows him to be more agressive on the turns.

I haven't tried it out, but seemed to make sense

Almost everyone I know of, from club racers to big name team drivers use spools...everywhere!

For rubber/carpet I am using the kit springs. 2.8's in front and 2.6's in back. I did buy a set of 2.4's for testing but went back to the kit springs.

The new XRAY T2'009 kits arrive at RC America today. US dealers and LHS should have their kits by the middle of next week.

Kimbrough will fit but there isn't much clearance. PRS and RW fit nicely.

I would guess Wednesday of this week. I confirmed with RC America that their first shipment is not sold out. They are able to satisfy all T2'009 preorders. This means your XRAY dealer can order your T2'009 from RC America if their stock sells out.
