Well theres your problem, Orca ESCs tend to to do that. I have 4 Orca ESC, 2 VX3, 2 R32x that just randomly dies for no reason. Like Zerodefect have stated, its probably just their shitty design thats causing the issue.

Not saying it didn't but Ive been onroad carpet for along time and have never worried about static discharge. you must race somewhere close to AREA 51. Maybe your track isn't grounded properly; the building who knows???????????????

The Al case is a nice faraday cage. So the stuff I'm doing at A51 should have no effect.

Trying to switch over in the next few weeks. Also curious.

These rules should have been adopted when we all went to blinky years ago. Seems like for club racing you can buy and keep a motor, big events are handouts or rentals. Some tracks are fixed gearing, even for 1/12th.

Great to win the New Zealand F1 nationals again with my Tamiya F103. It was hard fought too, as the result wasnt decided until the last final.

I love it, foam 200mm was the best and of course the original F1 Class. Its great to see it still going strong, especially in Japan. Our local Track is considering reviving the 200mm foam class on brushed Silvercan motors, as so many still have older F101, F102 and F103 cars just sitting collecting dust.

People are also running late model f1 cars on foams. 2nd place was a latest model xray. Motors are 21.5 blinky.
