I want to switch out the standard Tamiya F104 Spur and Pinion that comes with their kits and switch to 64P gearing. I have to imagine that is pretty common. I know i need an adapter ring, but then will standard TC type spurs work? Can you guys shoot me brand and part numbers for that conversion? Thanks.

Hi Everybody,
I am new to F1. I just want to know if any manufacturers make the Honda RA108 body.
Thanks.

ebay would probably be a quick answer to that and would tell you a manufacturer...

Most of the various builds are only a small number of body types that are painted to resemble the full size cars. The nearest to an RA108 will be the 3Racing F109 body and wings as the body includes the extra side aero pieces and the wings are a similar shape to the RA108.

Interesting. In the very helpfull article RCformula1 posted here it states:
"Tamiya use a proprietory gear pitch they call "0.04". It is interchangeable with the industry standard 64 pitch, so you can buy a 64 pitch pinion and use it with a Tamiya spur for example."
Is this correct? I thought the Mod 04 pitch was unique and proprietary (as stated). A 64 pitch pinion will work with the stock F104v2? Anybody do this?
