Good stuff. Looked like a lot of fun.
Fun part... at the begin we were quite cautious, but the more the "race" went trough, we raise the speed.

A super thanks goes to Maestri, the "differently young" guy that jump around the track.

The event was held at the UISP Nationals, at the Sesso racing racing track.

I'd like to take the chance to introduce some ugpgrade for WRC owners.

“Imola”

is a major upgrade kit for WRC F-One 180mm
Features:
Chassis is made using 2mm quasi isotropic carbon fiber
Semi rigid rear link, which allows different rigidity of the rear links for a better tuning
Multi wheelbase option, on both rear and front side
Variable battery placement with in 20mm range
Flex adjustment on the Upper deck

Car has been designed keeping the racer in mind, so all the adjustment are easily availble in matter of seconds.

A quick note over the name: instead of choosing an acronym or a number, we chose to name this car after one of the most emotional racing tracks.

Wow. AL that's is very kind of you my friend.

If no one steps up with a kit, car, or what your looking for then let me see if I can find you a new F104 Kit for you AL, I would always love to have a Big AL design, maybe some decals from the past ok.

Marty.
P.S.
Maybe one of these guy's that make decals here might want to buy your files of the Lotus decals so they don't need to do all the work you have done, maybe that could get you a car or two as well.

Plus I think that the ING Renault is a MLP 248 Body?

let paintlab do this not me!! he is way better than i am!!
like mi friend Marty signature says " i am in it for the fun"

Trouble is, Brad at F1 Paintlab is very, very busy doing bodies and decals for the regular F1 crowd that are racing the current generation of F1. Therefore I don't think he has much time to devote to this smaller niche class, and he probably wouldn't make much money off the VF1 guys anyway.........I think.

I would still like to know how you made those gauges for the dash.
Talked to Marty today, and he said the yellow tinting on the windscreen is done with a super thin decal. Pretty cool, and accurate, as the real cars did have a yellow tinted windscreen! Are you going to mount some side mirrors?

One more question: Will this be a Clark or Hill car? It was Hill who drove the Gold Leaf Lotus 49 in '68 and '69. Clark only drove it in the Tasman Series shortly before his death in April '68, and never in an official F1 Grand Prix race.

Al once sent me a thin yellow sheet for front headlights used on my Vette and Porsche 10 scale bodies back in the day, they were thin but not sure about super thin.

I would like to get a set of these stickers or decals to re-do my Jordan in Yellow.

I was wondering about that 35....never knew Clark or Hill to use that number on their cars. Now it makes sense!

Would still like to know how you made the dash gauges.
