just kidding ray. good luck at TCS. make us TB-02 owners proud.
shhhhhhh.....

I just wish I could get my RX and esc flat on the chassis. Right before the race I might scrap the cyclone and 301 and replace with a GTX and 302 rx!! Those two should fit.

yes it'll definitely fit. i have my 302 and my VFS-1. BUT i have the receiver on top of the servo because i have the antenna mount on the same screw as the steering post.

i dont like running the wire all the way to the back. having it on top of the servo with the antenna mount is also TCS legal, approved by mr. Medel himself.

Good idea-I too wil scrap my antenna mount before hitting the TCS race asi its a too heavy. A stubby antenna wil go in the car soon. GOtta lower the CG on this big tub.

hey all,

The TB02 is finally coming along. Its still has some issues that I need ot fix-but all in all its a lot better than its ever been. a switch to new type a tires also helped.

What it does now is it chatters or maybe porpoises a little in the rear end in fast sharp direction changes.I am running 2 degrre camber. I thnk its the rim hitting the carpet-but not sure. Will more static camber help?

Whats even better is my f201 feels really good.

On the 52 tooth gear, you can use 25, 26, 27

Make sure you get a METRIC .6 gear very few companies make these! A 48 pitch gear is NOT the same, and will ruin the spur!

Guys I am wondering how competitive a TB-02R with all the other goodies added to it would be in comparison to XXXS's and X-ray cars in club level racing? I know it depends on driver and all but I really want one to run in our TCS race this summer but I would like to get to tune with it now during our regular season without getting my doors blown off. I am new to the TCS stuff and I am really just now figuring out the classes and rules So I mean no disrespect and I trust you guys if you say it is on the same level as other top cars as I am really just uninformed. Thanks

Brant

Oh and BTW I can't afford a 415 or a EVO IV. LOL I am thinking of running in the GT2 class.
