Well I searched and still came up with stuff that is just rediculous in price compared to what my alternative is. I like Tamiya but at this point I may just go with my alternative.

The TB02 has been discontinued for some time and parts supplies are dwindling. That is why the TB-Evo 3 kits are so costly. If you are trying to race competitively, a newer chassis may be required.

Doesn't 3Racing make a TB02 graphite conversion chassis for under $90. Part TB03-16

That is labeled as a TB03 chassis. But I asked earlier as that exact one is sitting in the hobby shop near my house. If it would work I would go get it today.

Hi,

New to the forum and not had any RC gear in years... I've just bought a TB-02 which looks to be in good condition but it's missing its pinion gear and body posts. What are my options? Any parts / part numbers i need to consider?

Cheers,

Cheers,

The manual for the Tb02 is online. The pinions will be 0.6 mod.

You can find the part numbers etc all in the manual here

http://www.tamiya.com/english/rc/manuals.htm

yours will be the same as the one listed as 'TB-02 (Impreza WRC 2004)'

its a good chassis, the ball diffs can be a bit tricky to use though.

No. EVO3 and EVO2 are very different chassis.

Default Chassis ID?

Can anyone identify what version of TB-02 this is or what conversion kit manufacturer made the carbon kit ?
