Default Carpet setup

Reading through this topic was quite interesting, with a lot of arguements about the SS rear arms

anyway, I've just recieved a new TB01, is still kit standars and was wondering what setup would be the best for a high grip carpet track

also what are the hop up options that I should get to make the car competitive in silver 540 racing?

Thanks

they should be illegal...but I think the LW suspension set is going to make that a moot point anyways...

At the Tamiya USA headquarters. This was in the GT3 class with the silvercan motor. The track is an asphalt permanant racing facility!

Well after some time on the car with the new suspension, I am going back to the old suspension, at least the arms. I cant keep buying inner hinge pins to replace the bent ones. With the new arms I have like 12 mm of shims on the arms to adjust wheel base. I think this is too much. I may try using the new uprights on the old arms to see how that works.

Post TB02 top deck

I heard rumors that the new TB02 top deck was released in Japan recently.

Any pictures and/or experiences with the new item would be appreciated!

Ian...have any extras in your suitcase by chance?

sounds good, hope this item will add a bit more stiffness than that lower brace that helps soooo much

John... I have a feeling the new parts are just for bling bling (actually, I find the design a bit "cheesy" IMO)... once you see the pic, you'll probably agree with me. I'm still hoping Tamiya makes a carbon graphite version of their current plastic tub.
