At the moment I've tried a Novak and a Roche Prince (rebadged SP).

What's quite clear so far is if I gear appropriatly then adding boost gives the same top speed and less punch on my little indoor track. Is that supposed to be the way it is or have I got something wrong?

I would start out with 18 timing boost and FDR at 5.3. Check temp. after 2 to 3 minutes. You want to be 150 to 160 degrees. This is for SP motors.

Just wondering whats boost and turbo???
Can't seem to find it in the interface panels???
Download the latests version from the tekin website
There is also a video that enplanes how to install it and how to remove the older version.
Than you will have the boost as you check the sensord.
The Turbo will come soon.

I found quite a bit of extra pace by adding a little motor timing as well as boost but that heats motor up a lot more than boost, and was very limited before pace fell off again with too much timing.
Thanks

Cheers Steve. I'll try that. But what would you adjust for temperature- gearing or boost or does it depend?

Hi guys.

This turbo feature looks hot.... I know these things take time and that, but there is a big UK National here next weekend... I was wondering if we are likely to see anything by then?

If not.... Do you need anymore beta testers

Keep up the good work...

Guys I'm having a hesitation problem w/ my RS pro... I can slam the throttle and its a good second to 2 seconds before the car takes off.... the speed control sees me slam the throttle and sees it all the lights light up... the motor is a novak 21.5 running sensored only mode and i confirmed the sensor wire is plugged in correctly.... I rebinded my spektrum, re programed the speed control back to defualt settings and its still there and re-did the full throttle neutral and full brake settings as well.......

I have version 199 software...

What about using 198? Perhaps you are experiencing the bug they are talking about with the unreleased 199 version?

Maybe try a different sensor cable?

Could also happen if you have some debris in your motor. When was the last time you cracked it open and cleaned it out?
