Novak recommended 7.5 Final Drive Ratio for a 6.5 in a TC. So with the T2 if you look on page 41 for the charts it will let you know what pinon and spur to start with. As for top speed this depends on your track and how large it is.

hey avs. we run timing boost at max and 0 degrees on motor for 1/12 scale

i run donny lias setup as he is a friend of mine and i race at his track regularly

i can pm you with the setup if you like

Ran my RS Pro for the first time today. I noticed in the second qualifier that the car was a bit sluggish after a little fender bender. When I got the car off of the track I saw that the sensor wire had come unplugged. Thanks to running in the dual mode I was able to finish the race with very little difference. Thanks Tekin!

Boost is motor timing in v180. If you have v189 they call it boost. The difference in adjustment is timing goes to 100 on the dial and boost goes to 30. These are not percentages just measurement increments.

Steve, you found out the hard way. Sorry to hear that. Timing has sweet spots for each combination. For WGT a lot of our team guys were running 0 motor timing and full boost at the birds. This setup renders 30 degrees of timing total. Not a bad place to be with a 17.5.

You don't usually want to be over 40 degrees EVER between motor timing and boost. This is where you will see too much heat and no performance gain at all.

Try the above "birds" setup. I'm sure you will like it.

Is this with tekin motors or all motors?

Whats the lowest wind of motor that can be controlled with the RS? What do you really need the pro for? I need a 4 cell and lipo answer.

Whit the RS it's a 5T.
With the RS Pro it's no limit so a 2,5T will do.
Only till 4T with lipo and under 4T 5cell max.

My understanding is that the standard rs should be fine for 4 cell applications.

You will probably need to specify how many cell lipo you mean?

With a 2s lipo i assume its the same as 6 cell nimh, however, you need to keep in mind that with mod applications that it is recommended that you run a fan blowing over the solder posts to prevent the esc from over heating.
