Hi,
I have mounted a fan behind the motor and while testing on the bench I noticed, that the fan stops when motor turns a bit faster...
how can I solve this problem?

Try 4-3, 5-5. Too high turbo kick-in (lower rpm kick-in) will only cause motor heat up instead of speed/acceleration. You may even try 4-2 or 4-1 to see the difference.

Where's your fan power from? Battery or Receiver? Try get power from the receiver instead of the battery.

Thanks TeamWave for the fast answer,
I canīt try it yet, but the fan is connected at the same point as the fan on the rbs, so I canīt imagine that connecting to the reciever would help.
I thought itīs something about the magnet field?

thanks for the head up. I actully dont' have a problem with motor temp its was around 120F ish.
Okay i different problem i had a really misfortunate. in my 3 Q this weekend. just driver error over looking things and noticed them the late.
So I had to start at the back of the pack in the bottom. well I took it really easy turning 19 sec laps lol. i can turn low 14. I bump into the next heat.
my FDR was 3.7, was hard to get it the gearing. but managed it with a 87spur and a 47pinion, the speed was okay. the motor was cool still around around 120F, but the esc cut out twice. then took it off the track it the esc was very it was hot. my fan for the esc stopped working.
I can get you my profile setting in a bit. car still not unpacked yet from racing.
any advise would be great. yes there a heat sink and fan on the motor and the timing is set at 10degree;a

Are there any plans for replacing the RB50 or the linear motors? Thinking of getting some but notice most motors are out of stock at Wave?

The team wave site has gone quite have the guys been getting on with the software . i still think it is one of the best speedos , i use mine on 10.5 and its rapid

Just be aware that you can run the RBS software on the RB30 or RB50, you just lose your warranty. The twin turbo software is old now and is not even close to what the prototype software offers in performance. Just d/l it and try it out and you will go considerably faster.

What do I set it to as a starting point as I DONT WANT TO BLOW IT UP
the F1 is 2cell lipo 13.5 motor with 55mill rear tyres tuning a gear ratio of 3.85 as I have no idea on this roll out etc
Will I NEED A FAN ON ESC
All I know is get car running with out TURBO see how hot it is and start there
unless any one can give me a starting point on the settings for my F1
My Mardave is the same except a 1sLiPo
Now im getting happy

Will it have or does it have reverse I run the RB30 1s Lipo in my Mardave AND WE MUST HAVE REVERSE as per the rules
