I'd also like to know the overall quality of the kit compared to other
brands (AE, Tamiya, X-Ray).

Wall Banger.....
You can take steering out of a chassis in many different ways. Try stiffening your front end by moving the shock position out one hole at the top. See what the result is and adjust from there. Your rear end may require softening a little as well, one change at a time. Roll Centres, springs, shock oil, sway bars, shock positioning, ackerman, bump steer, camber, toe, anti dive etc are all ways that effect your steering.

I have the E4FS - C1) I run outdoor asphalt and can say the car is damned good. Quality wise I would say it is one of the best. As for whether it is better, I came from a TC5 which I loved and can say this car seems easier to drive faster and responds well to set up changes.

Cheers
Aaron

Lack of steering?

I have a E4 and run 5 cell modified.

Everyone says how much steering this car has, I dont understand why I cant get this car to turn, it just seems to understeer and wont change direction quickly.

I run on a tight indoor high grip carpet track and also a fast flowing outdoors tarmac track. It doesnt seem to make any difference on either, what ever I do the car wont carry any corner speed and has a large turning circle.

I m looking for setups for the above tracks and any other tips that might help me.

Many thanks

Anthony

ps Im sure their is some setups in this thread, but as its 40 pages long and I have a very slow connection, i couldnt find the right pages.
