I think they'll try to release the car world wide at the same time. Within a couple of days anyway.

Thats the way it's gone with the Turbo buggy anyway.

E4 Distribution

I understand the UK Team Magic Distributor is not going to import the E4 at the moment.
Don't worry those in the UK ! They originally said that about the G4 !! All those years ago and now look.

They may be just checking to see how it goes first and how popular the car becomes.

Not only that........everyone knows there's no money in Kits, so it seams quite feesable that they (the Uk distributors) will let others ship in the kits to the UK and then support the car with parts and upgrades as that's where the money is made for them and dealers alike.

Also, by then, the popularity of the car will be known and a better judgement will be able to be made as to weather to stock the kits and /or future
evolutions of it.

So anyone out there can purchase the kit from good "on-line" U.S. stores who will be stocking the kit's and support parts and where you don't have to pay shipping!

Dealers in the U.S are able to get the kits and parts to you thanks to TMA Marketing & Distribution. Online stores that will be able to send you the kits include:
Raceday Hobbies ....... www.racedayhobbies.com
Evolution Hobbies ...... www.evolutionhobbies.com
A Main Hobbies ......... www.amainhobbies.com

This is going to be a great race car and will have the support of not just a few dealers now, but a world wide network of distributors willing to help !

Will Lipo batteries fit this car ?

:confused:rob??

British Menace 10-05-2007 07:23 AM

The car was primarily brought out to supply the largest market as it stands right now. That is still the widespread use of NiMh (6 Pack)

But saying that, the word is that some Li-Po's will fit with the addition of some spacer/washer's under the top deck. With the larger pack's, we may have to wait for a "Li-Po Battery fitting kit" or an evo on the car.
There's talk on both.

The cars are shipping out this week so the first customers will have them soon !!!

Nick....will you be @ IhobbyExpo - Chicago in 2 weeks? I would love to take a real look @ the E4 there......

12 months ago it was a clear plastic prototype that I told you ppl would LOVE to see that happen.........12 months later, it is a real deal.

It does, doesn't it ! I think I may race electric this winter season after all !!

I also hope that TM does not start selling direct as that undermines the dealers we are trying to support out there!!

I might have to run the JRX-S for one more season, and I might see what happens next year;) Unless I see one, and fall in love with the way it works:confused:

MadBrushRacing 10-17-2007 11:40 AM

How efficient is this car when ran with a 27t stock motor as that's all I run?

Anyone in the UK getting one of these as if I decide to get one it would be good to bounce ideas about setups with you all?

Thanks

Yes they do fit on the car. As testing was done on the car using foam tires aswell as rubber.

Not meaning to be a dick but which is it, foams work or not? :p :)

It looks like 26mm rears might fit and possibly 28's but certainly not 30mm
