Sold my Top also.
Was fun to drive but a bit fragile.
Only thing i broke the last couple of races on my tTM where the "old" type front axles.
That was due to being hit by some one and then end up in the boarding or me making a mistake and gone flying.
Now with the new type i haven't got any trouble any more and the front is even more free then before.
With my Sakura i only broke one right steering hub and that was with very low temps.
regards Roy

Wish I could help but all 3 of mine are E4FS. I'm about to get a 4th with a bunch of parts and a couple of partial cars. I can keep in touch if you're interested. maybe I can put together and sell a complete chassis.

Hey Folks, I'm in need of a Tamiya chassis as our club is getting involved with TCS. I'd like to sell or trade one of my 3 E4FS cars. If you're interested in a clean E4FS to buy or have a Tamiya TA05 you'd like to trade, please PM me. Thanks, Dino

Anybody heard any new news on the updated chassis release ?? I swear every time I drive this car and work on it I fall in love all over again. This car is just THAT good !!!! I will say one thing....WOW what a difference the alloy front knuckles and rear hubs make. All that slop with the plastic parts is gone. I installed the Wolf Hobbies parts front and rear. SOOOOOOO much nicer.
Maybe I've just missed it but can anyone tell me if there is a better replacement piece for the drivers side rear chassis brace ?? You know the one that everyone dremels to get motor clearance. I just found that on one of my cars, the drivers rear upper deck screw can't tighten because the brace was dremeled a bit too much. Rather not go through the hassle if an already modified piece is available.

You can get the metal piece. the shaped it a bit different.
You talking about the Stand up piece connected to the Belt tensioner on the side ?
Or run a motor that isnt over sized on the rear.
Novak Ballistic
LRP X12 (Alot of torque for this chassis on tight tracks)
Team Powers with 12.5mm Rotor (Found this to be the perfect balance)
And they all fit convertibly into the rear Pod with out any dermeling.

Use the alloy part or better yet use the K factory lipo conversion.
It spaces the top deck a bit and gives you more clearance for the motor due to the shape of the side belt tensioner bracket.
You van also use the LRP X12 motors.
Depending on the rotor you use, you get a lot of rpms or a lot of torque.
I use the stock rotor in the LRP X12 13.5 and it is faster then a speedpassion and has more torque also.
I found only the Tekin motor reving higher.
Didn't try the new GM motor tho
That one has 3100RPM/V and 395Watts of power and is short enough to get in there.
