Default making graphite parts

If you cut, sand, or mill graphite, please wear a dust mask. Graphite and figerglass dust is BAD for your lungs.

Will you be running at XS?
It's good to see another E4 out there. I've got to go out of town this weekend but plan to be at the next race with my E4.
How are the belts holding out in MOD? I have a new 2009 that I would like to set up for mod in addition to my 13.5 car.
See ya there!

I just got the front wide belt but last time I race Mod I stripped it... I just put it together but might not run in this weekend. I've been running schumacher this past couple of years... I will be as XS Speedway this weekend to race 13.5 and Mod

Hi guys, bought my e4 from a friend. First was running ok. But lately my e4 sounds like the belt is skipping. Already chg new belts all 3. change all four small pulley. but still sound like the belt is skipping, specially initial start and coming out of corners.I'm running 11.5t motor and Sp GT2.0Pro. Sorry for my bad English. And appreciate the help from seniors

Your forgot about the rear diff and front diff pulleys......believe it or not, I did the EXACT same thing like you did, side belt 1st, then 2 short belts, then all 4 small pulleys....then the last 2 diff pulley, not untill I replaced that last 2 pulleys and the skipping sound disappear...

BTW...you cannot leave the belt too loose. Especially if you ran for outdoor. Also, the K-factory belts does make the situaion better...(less skipping sound)

I've also been experiencing that. So is the fix to just replace the diff gears or do I have to replace everything? Also how long will it last until the skipping sound comes back? Is this a chronic problem? Is there a certian kind of pulley that can eliminate this problem for good?

Thanks in advance.

You really need to keep the belt tensions set on the E4 so you don't get the skipping of the belt sounds. I know when I didn't have them set my belts would skip but when I went and get each belt tension right it went away.

How do you adjust tension? Unlike other cars, I don't see anything on the diff bulkheads that allow for belt tension adjustments. Other cars like XRay or Tamiya have eccentrics on the diff bearing holder to allow for belt tension adjustment. Is there a way of adjusting tension that I don't know about? BTW the instructions I got were worthless. Can you shed some light on this?

Okay, I just looked at the exploded view again and had to squint real hard.

I found this part.

http://www.wolfhobbies.com/product.c...7&product=8688

It mounts on this part on the middle lobe. I've always wondered what that was for. Now I know.

That is for the rear belt
The other pics are for the side and front belt.
