I have managed to get a set of team magic springs - can I assume that the standard springs which are described as 1.4 * 7 is the same as the 1.4 in the spring box?

Jochim_18 12-30-2007 10:27 PM

I'm Currently using tamiya shocks. Works very good...........

Thomas P 12-31-2007 12:46 AM

The springs for the G4 car works great on stock shocks. there is one thing, to get lower RH, the K-Factory shocks is a must.

Gansei,

Very impressive. I really like that track too. A couple questions though, Is your car running foams or rubber tires? Now that your running a 3.0 BL, how much less runtime do you have compared to your previous runs.

Thanks,
Steve

donny 01-06-2008 07:47 PM

Hey Steve, what up? I'm sunburnt from running outside in Orlando all day. How's the weather in WA? I am almost finished building my E4. Car went together very nice. Just picked up a Sponsorship with Corally so I have to sell it. Anybody interested in a brand new E4 for $360 shipped in the continental US let me know. I'm taking a loss. Pay pal only. The only thing not done are the shocks and electronics.

i used rubber 32 degree tires. But 28 degree tire go well than 32.(below zero temperature weather)

i run 3.0 BL with 3~4 minutes without power down.

the movie was taken after 1 minute run.

Donny.

Good to hear from you. We all miss having you racing (and living) with us up here in Wa. but you already knew that though:nod:. Good times. Keep us informed in the NW threads.

It's been rainy and really windy lately, 3 or 4 days straight, but not like its not common up here this time of year. Super happy to hear that you hooked up with Corally, good move for you and them also. I know you will do them proud. I am currently with a TC5 but looking hard at the E4.

If anybody is wanting to buy Donny's new E4 don't hesitate, he is a stand up great guy, and you wont be disapointed.

Gansei,

I am even more impressed now, as I thought you would have been on foams.
Are the nitro's in the video running foams?

What other BL motors have you used in your previous Youtube videos? What if any runtime issues occured with them?

Thanks,
Steve

Thomas P 01-06-2008 09:56 PM

Any ideas where i can get some steeringblocks to the E4? they are out in almost any sho ive looked in to :/..

yes.. the nitro's in the video used foams.

my previous BL motors was LRP 3.5, 4.0

LPR 3.5,4.0 had more runtime than Vortex 3.0.

and i used 9.5:1 gear ratio in Vortex 3.0 video

Do you guys mount the rear belt tensioner? , i dont have mount, and my rear belt has a very good tension, but i dont sure if it loses some acceleration, because i probe the car without lateral belt, rear traction only, and the car have a good handling, but loses more aceleration, the rear had litle traction, in a straight line.

Greetings, Luis C.

possibility of using a spur 48dp?
What are the positive and negative points of chassis, as well as the most FRAGILE pieces?

luic 01-10-2008 12:59 PM

I use a 81 spur of 48dp, no problem. For me, the more fragile part is the blades (pin protectors):flaming:, i use 8 pairs, it not espensive.
Positive, is more Strong, cardans, diffs, belts,...
Negative, i´m not sure is this is a negative point, is more innovative, some parts are slighty different, roll bars, steering,

Gansei, do you use original springs, and roll bars, and the track have high or low grip?

Greetings, Luis C.

nocif13 01-10-2008 01:48 PM

thank you

Lycan 01-10-2008 04:52 PM

Hi Guys,

Anyone found an alternative UJ for the front of the E4?
Snapped a few and was wondering if another brand might fit.

I can understand why the front aluminum ones break if they are soft alloy, but why do the rear steel ones break as well? I also still don't understand why some people are breaking them and others aren't?

nocif13 01-19-2008 04:58 AM

where find the parts for E4? In what stores?

black_spl 01-19-2008 10:32 AM

There are 2 versions of E4 on the market at the moment and the price are very close. I normally race on tarmac with medium-high grip, which version should I buy??
Has the FS version fixed all the issue we raise in this thread?
Thanks
