Kewl Mahalo's for the Info Tony.
I have run a 17.5 system in my Mini before at Test & Tunes and it was around the speed of a Silver Can (maybe even a little slower?)
We are looking at starting up a Mini class at a new track here and most guys want to Brushless. The HobbyWing system is the one I told them about, but I figure some people may not want to go that route so just looking for an option.
I'll probably try and see if I can run a Novak 13.5 in my Mini to see how it compares?
ThanX Again

I have to say, that going to the Hobbywings was for us, the best thing we ever did.
Zero maintenance. And the original system we first tested around this time last year is STILL going now. Even after the 1000 lap enduro in 46+C heat.
If we'd still been running Sport-Tuneds as we used to do, I would have been through 20-30 of them in the same period.
We did look at the Novaks (amongst others) and while we could get similar performance from them, the price difference was just too much.
At around $130/140 Aus I'm a HUGE H/wing fan I gotta say. And the massive increase in numbers racing proves that a lot of people think the same way.

None that I've ever seen myself. Or that anyone has mentioned to me.
I have 3 of the systems, they've all been faultless from Day one. No-one at rc-mini has suffered any problems at all, and we abuse the hell out of them.

only dislike sp 11.5 on m03 due to it motor can size longer compare to hb13t motor, so the knuckle its very near the motor can...

It is long winded to explain the cogging issue. However, generally the cogging issue occursa with sensored motors on sensorless ESC's with large rollouts.
Lets just say that the Hobbywing system 13T combo is a great system for the mini. Cheap, reliable and fun

seems like the HW 13T is discontinued... How are the yeahracing versions?
I assume this would be the equivalent

That is because Yeah racing is owned by RC Mart. Why would they put the Hobbywing up against their own branded product?
It is "discontinued" as in they are not stocking it anymore
Your link refers to the 25A combo as well.
I just spoke to Hobbywing and they confirmed that they are still making the 13T combo.
Ill informed information on a forum is dangerous
