they worth something and it's always fun to look at them 10 - 15 years later.

rc has evolved a lot

I don't plan on throwing it away, but I wish I could find that blasted Mini . . . I don't think I ever got around to even painting the body on it :smile:. I know I went through a set of tires on it really fast, and I had a blast driving.

I really wish I could have found it.

I went brushless with my M03. I used Hobbywing 35A ESC and Tamiya's TBLM-01 18T motor. I gotta say this set up is very nice for this car its very quick and has a lot of top end speed. And I could not beat the price I only payed sixty dollars for the motor and ESC. Very quick and the power comes on very even and smooth very good top end speed also.

Well I ordered a EZrun system and decided to trim the BEC plug on the Tamiya esc. It works perfect. Now I have another item I don't need:lol:. I don't know whether I'm just getting old, but am having more fun with less expensive cars at slower speeds. I don't have that gotta have everything the best syndrome anymore.

+1, I know what you mean, have two Touring cars, X-ray 09 & T3.
But since racing Tam Minis haven’t even looked at them in over 3 months. Having too much fun with my Mini :).

Turn your TC chassis' into Vintage Trans Am (VTA) or RCGT, controlled power output, traction (slicks shouldn't be out of the question tho since they wear better and are what are actually raced on full sized cars) and realistic looks.

Just wish Vintage Trans Am would catch on out here in the Wild West.:sneaky:

Looks like VTA is more eastern and RCGT is for the west.:confused::weird:

Not really an Import racer dude although not totally against trick imports from Europe and the Orient.:tire:

I have just finished building a new Race car to participate in a local event called "FunnyRacing". Basically its an M-chassis class, where you use Ezrun 13T motor and foamtires. The rest is up to you :D

Its an M03 and I have build it with parts from an FF02 and a M04, plus a little extra from E-bay and my local hobbyshop.

Just wanted to show it to you :)

Very cool, but I would cut out some cooling ports above the esc. You need that to breathe under there.

Dont worry .. it will not overheat. Run that type of setup here with no issue whatsoever

I actuallty haven't tried driving it yet. :cry:

The heats are 8, 10 or 15 minutes long, so I will have to test whether heating is a problem or not. I have also taken the fan off, because I couldn't fit it in there with it on :-)

What timing are you going to run? let us know how it works out for you. I have the same system but didn't put it in my car.

I am going to talk to "Mr. FunnyRacing" on thursday, and the setup of the esc is on the top of my list of questions to him ;)

I will let you know how it goes when I actually get the car on carpet sometime in the future......

Does anyone know the part number for the Berlina wheels? The one in the manual is wrong.
