Tamiya mini cooper
the 24 tooth pinion wont fit my M05 due to the hole in the alloy motor mount is too small for it
A mate of mine needs new steering links for his original M03 (his popped over the ballstud causing the steering to stop re-centreing).
Instead of buying the whole C-Parts tree, would the ballends from 50953 work?

What do you guys think of the Tamiya's GT tuned motor is it any good for the Mini its 27T motor I'm not using this for racing or anything. I have a Tamiya sport tuned black can motor and a Tamiya lightly tuned silver can 28T motor in both my M03 chassis cars. I have the stock 540SH silver can motor that the car came with in my M04 and I was thinking on getting a GT tuned motor is it a waste of money or what do you guys think. I've seen them for about $38 with shipping.

Not entirely true. The M03-M has the right wheelbase. You can make your car longer or shorter so it will be either 210 mm, 225 mm or 239 mm.

the datsun is made to mount on a cup racer with a low-profile front nose (ie, laydown shocks vs stand-up shocks) and the top of the M03 will most likely be a HUGE issues on the HPI datsun
sorry, dude

True the Datsun will fit the M03M just like this Alfa but it will looks plain ridiculous it rides too high because of the servo mount even with full size 1/10 tires. The nose on the Alfa and Datsun are much flatter then that of the Mini or the Suzuki. The nose of the Suzuki and Mini are more rounder and taller so that's why they can fit over the servo mount.
