In silver can mini racing I'd say probably not. But when running the M03 with a 13T brushless setup I think it has an effect.

I built a new M03M for last weekends big race in Bendigo. Running it with the Fiat Abarth corse 500 body caused it to traction roll on quite a few of the corners. I tried half a dozen tyre combinations, different shocks etc to try and cure it.
In the end I changed it to short wheel base and ran the Chevron Monster M body and didn't have another traction roll problem all weekend.

I was well p!ssed, I painted up the Fiat especially for that race!

Speedtechrc.com is the best place to get mini parts. Jeff is very helpful in getting stuff if its not in stock.

I noticed my new m05 worked so much better until I put the stock Tamiya Mini Cooper body on. I had to adjust my driving to accommodate the top heavy body. Noticed the tires were rubbing on the inside of the fenders and need to look into making that go away. Seems the tire rubbing also adds to the roll overs by speeding up weight transfer. Too bad those Chevron Monster M bodies are not avaliable here in the States without being raped on shipping charges.

I'd LOVE one of those bodies too---maybe we could get a few of us together to order them--and reduce the shipping charges that way!! I"d order two.

Default M04 Lipo

Can someone link me to a good (inexpensive) lipo that will work on a m04? All the ones I've looked at have the leads coming out the top of the case, so it doesn't appear those will work with the battery holder.

I have the ezrun 35a/13t combo..if that makes a difference.

Thanks.

Couldn't resist putting a Datsun body on my M03.
I think it looks rather nice
I know it is in need of some smoking black wheels but the only set i had left that where decent where these white wheels

cheers Roy

Is that an HPI or ABC body? Looks good, not too high in the front as expected.

I know it is a bit to high
I can't get it any lower due to the front body posts
And it is the HPI body.
Perhaps i am going to make special body posts to get it lower at the front

cheers Roy
