I finally freed up some time to complete my pilotless RCs.
I made a few of these and this is the result with a quick paint job.

I'm happy with the results - a few webbing issues I can live with since they're sitting inside the body.

The Tamiyas deserve the "complete" look! You cant' have a pilotless car...OR can you?

You can't have headless pilot's and co-pilot's in the cockpit...so I made the heads too!

Wally...those are AWESOME!!!! Be sure and post pic(s) of your car with the pilot/co-pilot installed.

I use acrylic-based paint. Tamiya, or any generic namebrand will work. You can use the generic brand that is used widely in the ceramic hobby. It's cheaper and applies just as nice and easy.

We have a new Mini class at S & M Trackside; it's call "Mini Nose Standing."

By using a combination of throttle control, forward and reverse of course and servo torque steer, you see how long you can get your Mini to stand on it's nose. Pictured, is our local track champion the one and only Buck, orange shirt, he kept his Mini on it's nose for the full five minutes.
