After reading about all the fun you guys have with the mini...just had to get one
Just finished spraying one body (have three )

does anyone have the part number for the m 03 body I'm currently running a m 03l but want to take the spacer out and run it short to check out how the shorty handles.

Wow..never realised the mini bodies were so ex in the USA
It's about US$15 each over the net here.

They have two different types of shocks for the mini. One is the plastic cva shocks. The other is an aluminum set that is more money. I bought the cva short plastic shocks. I would save some money & get the plastic ones. As for a setup this is what I got. Front Shocks have a 5mm spacer inside, medium & think shock tensioners. The spacer & tensioners come with the new shocks. I also have whites springs & 90wt shock oil in the front. Back is almost the same as the front. I have dark blue springs & 70wt shock oil in the rear. I am using trinity shock oil for all the shocks(Prefered Brand). I also have the heavy tension sway bar in the front & nothing in the back. I don't know what else I can adjust off hand. If I can figure out more I will post it.

hi.
when i accelerate the car tracks right, and then when i let off the throttle it tracks left (or stright)
what is wrong?
i got a ball diff, could this make it track?

1. the ball diff is in backwards
2. the ball diff screw is not tight enough
3. the out drive is not in the ball diff all the way.

While we're talking about ball diffs, I've seen two different part numbers listed for the M03; 53070 and 53267. Which is the better choice, and how are they different?

53070 is the Manta Ray diff, 53267 is the TA03 diff.
Both fit in the same space, but the TA03 diff is lighter with an improved design and therefore the one to go for.
As far as the tracking goes, make sure the wheel bearings etc is free and the suspension is set evenly and moves freely.
