Question. Does the HPI Civic body fits??? some say the wheel base is good, but the servo mount is too high for this body. Can one confirm?
I only use this body for our club races, it is not legal for a TCS event.

Those are standard offset(0mm) wheels. There might have been 2mm spacers on the hubs when I took those pics... I cant remember for sure. I sold that body a while back since I didnt like the fit, otherwise I would check it again to be sure. I still have a couple of HPI Miata bodies though, & they're a bit narrow too.
It seems like the HPI RS4 mini must be a few millimeters narrower than the Tamiya minis... would be cool if someone could confirm that.

Stated width for the M03 is 167mm, for the RS4 Mini, 160mm....

SoCal opens at 3 for practice and racing starts at 7. We'll be waitin for you. We run silvercans and TCS rules pretty much. Open on rims and tires. The exceptions we make are to trim costs and adapt to the track surface. Your HPI tires are what most people run. Racing is fun, fast, and close. The difference from 1st to 3rd is usually less than 3 sec. Last weeks race was decided by .01 sec. Tip---see Brandon for motor help
Silver cans only huh? (I have a black can in mine right now... I guess I'll have to find my silver can again...LOL)

You can see above where you have the option to run short shocks, or longer shocks. The choice is purely personal and both will work. The ride height will usually work out the same as the long shocks will settle down to the height of the springs. The theory is that the longer shock has more 'droop' (down travel) and therefore maintains traction better. We call this setup 'super-droop' In practice it just seems that both work equally well in most situations and its a personal preference sort of thing. You might however find that super-droop is a better choice if you're running the large diameter 60D slicks.
