http://www.tamiyausa.com/articles/fe...?article-id=12 BTW John I don't run sway bars very often, and I did not have them on the car @ last years nats. So I must be slow! |
right i think this is the best place to ask...
anyway iam after some good all round tyres that are a good all rounder, ive tried looking for the HPI's but its like trying find a needle in a haystack with them and being discontinued (i think)for a while are kinda hard to come by here in the UK, so any advise on where i can get a good all round tyre for carpet and tarmac:confused: |
I love reading that link. Now I'm racing my Mini and was wondering about that TA03 ball diff. Will it help me put down the power in the turns or after the turn? I've learned to turn without brakes, what a difference that makes. My touring car uses them because it's so low to the ground. What ride height are you guys running at anyways?

Well I'm putting my Suzuki Swift together finally. Just waiting on a bearing kit to come thru my door. Only other hop up is my front universals. I've only been able to find my silver can motor for my Mini so I'll stick with my green Tamiya motor.
Is the Swift a bit more stable than the Mini since it's a tad bit longer? |
Ummmmm I think this will answer that...

Hot off the press (well the Tech Racing website anyway) and straight onto rc-mini is this HUGE surprise..
Check it out here. Its a 12th scale basically, but adapted to Mini wheelbase and Mini wheels! Oh yeah.... You know you want one! http://home.iprimus.com.au/anthonygr...DDM_Mini_S.jpg |
Got a link to the Tech Racing website?
|

I've got a box full of 10th & 12th scale pancar parts and sheets of fiberglass floating around. I might have to start a little custom project.:sneaky: |
Well I put in the black can motor and I noticed something else. My car height was pretty up there so I took off both the front and rear C sections on the shocks and now the chassis is slammed!!! Took her outside and ran her on the pavement, so much better now I can't believe it. Well at least I got that part of the ride sorted. I just wish my esc would fit in the back portion of the chassis to give it a lower COG also. Oh well, beggers can't be choosers.
Now to sort out the Swift. Anyone got some super cva shocks sitting around doing nothing they want to get rid of? |
Got the 50746 shocks to put on my mini - which pistons are the best to use from the packet???
