You Rock Kenny. Just what I was looking for. I've been hearing good things about you through the "Marker Hotline" Keep up the great mini racing there in Omaha. Nice paint job too!

If you want to try a spool, you can use the stock gear diff to make one.

Simply take one of the 3 spider gears in the diff and put it between the remaining 2 gears and put the cover back on. A lot of the crawler guys do this
with the TLT diffs. It works but is not permanent.

I ran this setup for one race and it worked good. But tire wear was expected and excessive!;)

will the gear hold or it will just fall off when received an impact???

I have a friend who locks up the gears in the diff of his rock climber by putting silly putty in the diff. I have no idea what the effect is or if it would work on a mini.

you guys need to cut some yogurt cup bottoms and hot glue them on
the inside to make fender liners.

Now that's a great idea. I wanna see this too.

just be careful to put some e-tape on the paint before you
hot melt the cup on there so that the paint doesn't just
pull off the body when the liner is hit or something.

best to widen the amount of paint the hotmelt is adhered to
than concentrated on a narrow area. :)

Kenchan,
Got the body today. Thanks.

I only bought it a copuple days ago, what did you do drive it over and drop it off on my front porch?? In other words, thanks for the super-fast shipping.

Now, I just need to decide how to paint it. I'm thinking about making it a Tamiya Parts & Service van.

Thanks again.

Something like that. I was thinking white body with Tamiya red and blue stars on the front doors "Parts and Serive" under the Tamiya logos, I don't know. Still in the concept phase. But, since the body does not look like a race car, I thought I'd try something different.

Although, this one on tamiyaclub.com looks awesome.

^^ dang, that does look awesome! :D

I got a clear body like that I'll sell you for $40.:):):) Just joking.

If I remember correctly the Tamyia vans in Japan are silver. Let me see if I have a picture.
Sorry no pic of them.
