Ok now I'm confused. After looking up the part # at tower it comes up as a M03L kit.

Saw that one but the part number seems a little weird.... 0005797. I'll contact Champ and see if they actually have that. None of the hobby shops in the U.S. seem to show them in stock.

Anyone excited about the mini 4WD Xpress MRR II ? Seems to be a decent price and high quality. Lot's of photos on the RCMART homepage.

According to the manuals:

Part # 0005797 is the M03L and M03M and should be black

Part #50792 is the M03 and should be grey

Sure was, died in the bum about 2 years ago. I suspect Dinball have basically just bought the rights to the name and the old tooling.. Not a silly idea I reckon, and the new car looks pretty good too.

You are correct Tony.

Apparently Dinball (RCMart) acquired Xpress

Well, that will depend on the rules at your track or if you're racing TCS. Our track follows TCS rules but allows LiPo so we all run the Orion/Peak 3200s. I've heard good things about the Venom 3000mah stick packs and they're $19.99 which fits nicely with Mini...cheap and fun.

I have a Futaba 9650 servo mounted in my mini, but have encountered the following problem: The servo mounts keep moving. Have tried just about everything except glueing them but to no avail. New screws, lockwashers, nothing seeems to work. Have verified that there is no contact between the servo saver (Kimbrough mid-size #201) and chassis. Also the end points are such that no contact is made between chassis and front uprights (Tamiya aluminum #53523).
Must be TCS legal.
