I'm not sure about the Friday practice session, but certainly as part of the racing on the Saturday and Sunday, i didn't see much in the way of traction rolling at all! When you are driving them, they don't seem that fast, then you watch them in the video's and they look mighty fast!

Tony, that highlight reel is great! Also had a look at the Mini's at the Velodrome

You need to try Velo Nath......

Honda Fit? Easy...

We get most of our stuff from rc.mart.com but they dont have any of these at the moment.
Maybe rc-champ?

sorry hobbs I don't run TCS legal but I do run with a sport tuned black can motor. The ESC is a small LRP so I can stick it inside the chassis instead of on top.

If you are in the US, the rules are here

Didn't read anything about the esc. Others might know.

This question has probably been asked before but reading through 130+ pages I will probably still miss it.

I just got my mini up and running, and did my first test drive today at the track. Car handles great!

I was just wondering what pinion you guys were running with the stock silver can motor? Currently I am running the 20 tooth pinion that came with the kit.

Here is the setup on the car as of today let me know if you think I am missing anything;
- TRF oil filled shocks
- Blue short springs front
- Yellow short springs rear
- 2 black O-rings on the inside of the shock to limit travel
- Tighten the collar down enough to keep the spring from moving but no pre-load on the spring
- Silver sway bars front and rear
- 60D slick tires from Tamiya
- Stock foam inserts from the kit

Thanks
