Does anyone have a Toyota bB? #58265. looks like it's a bit of a collectors item now... Just wondering what it's worth these days . I have the opportunity to get it for $usd150.. damaged box though ( mold ). pics for ref only. not the one i wanna get. It's a M03L.. and not many bodies for these guys. I personally think M03 is the best chassis of the three. (racing wise) just so much nimbler round those turns. but black chassis is stronger ( i think) . and comes better equipped with swift kit. just my opinion though.

Collectors item ? I don't think so ... If you want to be a collector, better spend your money on more rare items .... Tamiya tends to release the body lately (remember the old VW volkswagen that they'll release this year ?).
But I still see some of this kit in some Asian countries (Tailand, Korea, probably Singapore etc)

To all us old farts, it does just look like a box, but my kids love those things. If Tamiya sold that kit here in the US, I bet it would be a good seller.

If I was going to spend $49 on a new mini body (which I am not going to do), I'd buy the Scion before I'd buy the Suzuki Swift.

Default Setup Sheet

Does anyone have a setup sheet for the m03? I realize there are no suspension adjustments to be made, but a sheet that has shock, tires/inserts and other comments would be great. I have a terrible memory and can't remember things a week or two after I do them.

I know this has been asked before, but no seems to have one.

I'm trying to work out the rollout of my M04 and was wondering how many teeth on the spur gear? Also I found the internal ratio is 3.134, is this correct?

hey all.

If i get the M attatchement for my cooper can i fit this body on it?

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXN250&P=7

the m03 wheelbase is roughly 8 inches, so i'm hoping that extension will make it close to 8 7/8". Thanks

Shaun.

No. Hits servo mounts. Will fit 4wd minis & M01/M02 though. For a complete compatability listing check out: http://www.rc-mini.net/MiniWeb1/What...hells_Fit.html

Nice listing rc-mini!!

Still waiting for my Swift .
But I am thinking about motor/speedo at the moment an my favorite ESC at the moment is the LRP Quantum Competition 2, its small, shock and waterproof and it matches the blue colour of my hopups .
But one alternative I cant get out of my head: I really would like to run brushless, but I cant find a suitable system (small speedo, not to powerful motor, 540 size). So what about using 4 cell brushless, Novak makes a new 4-cell GTB ESC. Is it much effort to convert the M03 for 4 cell use?
I will not race it, so it really does not matter if it is race leagal!

Not to sure about the ESC but the Novak Super Sport brushless ESC might fit inside the rear chassis. It might be to tall though. The only brushless motor that would be even close to the 540 would be the Novak 13.5 and it's roughly equivalent to a 27 turn motor. I know my LRP IPC Pro will barely fit into an M03M and won't fit in a M03 so I doubt the LRP Quantum will though I've never tried it. I would worry about heat buildup unless you're going to tape it to the top of the chassis and then you can run anything.

I think Novak makes 18.5 brushless motor. But why spend big $$$ on brushless anyway, if you not going to race 540 motor has same maintenance as brushless.
