That's about the only thing left working and I eat a lot of burritos. Game on.

Once again, I've said too much.

Also, I've ordered everything but the DJCs.

OMG now I can hear you over here. Burrito Monkey power!

Any ideas as to when Canadian Hobby Shops will see the M07? Wanting to try it on the asphalt track since I can gear it up to feel a little faster on a open asphalt track.

Double post.

So after moving the ESC to the other side of the chassis, I was able to get the L/R balance pretty close. Still need to tinker with a couple of things but very encouraging thus far.

Thanks for the tips everyone.

Very nice that is almost 50/50 should help balance the steering out a lot. Let us know how it does. My esc is on top of the battery compartment im thinking i think it may be worth that little change.

^Yes. Will do!

must be either bearing or brass bushing. The hole is too big for step screw.

This kit will come with ball bearing for the steering.

Quick question for you guys...

...what is the best way to "stiffen" the action on a TA-03 ball diff I'm running in my M05? It is currently built per the directions but I would like to tighten the action beyond the diff nut being locked down.

Thanks!

bertrandsv87 05-18-2017 02:21 PM

The ofna diff lock lube is the only way to get a tighter diff with the current lock nut. If you try to increase the tightness of the nut with a bigger wrench, you will break the diff bolt for sure...

Break the TA03 diff bolt? You'll strip the pressure plate long before that would happen. It's a very large bolt.

bertrandsv87 05-18-2017 04:33 PM

These bolts are very small to me... I've broken a few grade 8 bolts under my Jeep, so I don't want to advise people to go at it all out....

monkeyracing 05-18-2017 08:06 PM

They might be a relatively large fastener, but they're made from compressed spam. Also, being a hollow fastener, there's not as much bulk keeping the head and the shank together. I've never broken one while tightening, but I've stripped the threads and had one fail during a race.
