I want to fiddle around with an Atomic, but can't seem to find them for sale anywhere.

Yeah, there was a guy selling one last week, but before I could PM him he already sold it.. :( He had the lipo version too.

But I wonder if you can buy spare parts for it?

Cool, I'll let you know if I find someone selling the kits.

Finally got around to make the front camber arms on my M03. Basically took the same idea I did on the M-Four. Two short ball connectors chopped off about 1mm each, 8mm set screw inside. Used a few bushings to position the arms properly on the M03.

Car is dialed with -1 camber, not the ridiculous amount it came with out of the box. At least on my track no need for that much camber; not only did it not have the stability I wanted, it also ate the tires too fast on the inner treads.

M03 front droop control.. :D

And no, there is no noticeable stabilizer action as there is nothing holding the bar on the top side of the 2 screws holding the bar in place. I have a dedicated stabilizer installed on the aft side of the arms.

Speaking of which, I have a NIB pack of #53343.

The swaybars for the m03 are discontinued now, so if anyone needs them for tuning, just shoot me a PM.

Thanks, they will for the rear ones for sure. I might still have a crossbar in my CupRacer bin..I'll check that later. :)

This is what I have from my M05 that I no longer use. The 2nd hole from the outside is perfectly spaced with the Rover Mini body pre-drilled holes as I found out. :D I just need to make a bracket from the base of the damper stay to the chassis which shouldn't be too hard to do.

So, what did you guys get for your RC cars this xmas? :D

I bought myself that BSR M-Rage I mentioned, along with 2 sets of Shimizu 55mm tires with Tamiya Rover Mini wheels for each m-chassis, receivers, ESC, servo's for the parts bin. Also got a small box of spare parts for my SabreMini's. I'm still waiting on a couple more things to come in from Japan.

From family I got some cool gifts, but they are non-RC related. They want to pull me out of the basement I guess. This entire week I spent most of the day working on my RC cars with my kids, will do the same entire next week since I'm off for 2 full weeks this holiday.

Hope you all have a great holiday.

I really didn't get anything (RC or otherwise), although I bought myself a new Timex from Walmart on Wednesday. I got a ton of stuff for my family and in-laws, though.

New radio for my b-day a few days ago. We and the rest of the extended families are putting Xmas money towards charities and food banks. We already own a lot of stuff and are too fat! It'll just be great spending time together (and eating some turkey). Merry Christmas, guys!

Merry Christmas Jim and mini lovers where ever you are!

Is there such thing as a gear diff (oil diff) specifically made for the M03?
I see gear diffs for M05's..but I'd like to install one without boring out holes if possible.
I'm already noticing my MantaRay diff is starting to loosen up only after maybe 50-60 runs?

I'm just hoping someone offered something in the 15yrs I was away.. lol TIA

monkeyracing 12-26-2015 01:04 PM

Nope.

We use the normal Tamiya gear diff, fill with 80k+ oil, seal the casing edges with glue. Fill only about 40% so when standing oil does not reach the outdrive holes.
