How much shock travel are you running? Sounds a bit like the rear is running without any droop, so the springs are pre loaded. This may explain why the car is stable with a lower rear ride height. Try lengthening the rear shocks so you have 0.5 to 1mm shock extension when you lift the car from its ride height.

I use shocks from a Schumacher Mi4 with short Tamiya springs in my mini. My son runs Tamiya shocks. Both are good quality.
I'd say get any decent brand shocks, the short Tamiya springs and you should be ok.

dinball (rcmart) ships pretty quickly.
Looks like you also MUST use the included aluminum steering rack post assembly. Stock plastic pieces (which I prefer) are too long. Step-down on the cassis in that area apparently has been changed as well from previous. I guess one could trim the plastic pieces down a bit
Hmm
Does this inconsistency applies only in M05 V.2 or also applies to M05 V.1 ?

Thanks again thelittlesthobo.
Another question, what servos are people using. I'm having issues with cheaper servos with plastic gears stripping and I just tried a tower pro mg996R and it simply stopped working after about 15mins. I dont want to spend heaps but I'm sick of these cheap servos.

Hi, I've been racing mini for a couple of years now and have to say I'm totally hooked... Also been reading this thread for years now and just lovin' it.
I've raced my M05 for some time now and looking for the next step... M05vII... I know where to order but WHEN?! I can't get a guarantee, only a notification of when the kits arrive when I ask the shop...
It's my first time trying to pre-order something so am I missing something? The question really is.... is there a shop that can guarantee me the product with a pre-order?

Patience my friend, or a plane ticket to Japan and a visit to Akihabara is what you need.
They'll be on the shelves worldwide soon. Japanese companies have this policy of satisfying the domestic market first and worry about exports later. Shops in HK are perhaps you best bet if you can't wait. Try the usual suspects, they're pretty reliable.
