Tamiya mini cooper

Just remember the more you practice with Tamiya products, the better you can do at a TCS race.

Wow, we really go through a new set of typeA's in two days. One of the tracks we run on is smooth and the other is a little rough. We have a pretty good mini turnout every week, check it out on the Georgia racing forum. I think there are about 22 running on a regular basis. Thanks for the info on the wheels. Keith

i just got these new tires. they're tamiya ones, 60D. it's labeled M-Chasis Slicks. part number: 53215. they are packaged in plastic (unlike the Type A's that are in a box). all i can say is that they're super hard! will test them out, hopefully they run well. maybe these are good practice tires as Type A's are really soft compound and wear very quick.
badboy, has anyone used these tires here in our area?

Hope this helps you out, the instructions are on 1 large sheet. The first file (A) is the left hand side and the second file (B) is the right hand side!
Thanks again,

Shock problem
Im currently doing up a mini and hit a problem. I have the tamiya purple shocks and the tuned springs. I have tried all 3 different piston rings with 1 2 and 3 holes, ive tried 30 40 50 and 70 weight and still the shocks are too long for the springs. they are always solid and the springs rattle around as the shocks are too long. I have seen people use the yellow front blue rear combo but cant understand how they get the shocks to be shorter so i dont have to add like 4 spacers just to get the springs to meet. (Tried without the spacer and the spring bounced and the lower spring holder fell off..
Someone told me to cut the piston rod.... But ive not seen you guys say that at all....
Please help me get my mini M3L lower. (I put reg springs on, yes they fit alot better but i can limbo under my car.. CG toooo high!!!
Thanks for help
