Tamiya mini cooper
My son and I attended the iHobby Expo in Chicago yesterday. Great time! $12 to get in and $13 for parking was a little hard to justify, but the rest of the day was great.
Over in the R/C pullers, we saw the ultimate Mini Cooper, the "Mini Pooper." Ha! Figured you guys would like to see it!
The next photo is the extreme in these pullers! Wow!

you can also try the BMS 761DD. i'm using this one on my m05 pro and it's been running well. a bit pricier, though.
To the top for the new mini guys.

And...back to the front page again to try and stop all these new Mini-related threads proliferating....

It's been quiet, huh? I guess that means we've all mastered our cars and no longer require advice about making them better. May as well just lock the thread now.

Maybe it's because you haven't been posting here Jim. Feeling better?

Better-ish. Started working our again tonight. It's amazing how much muscle one can lose in a month.
Fortunately, my radio isn't heavy and I can still hobble onto the driver's stand. As long as I've got that (and a supportive wife) I'm good.

Sounds good, Jim!
Now I have a question. Why does a brand new M05 ball diff feel crunchy?

You're doing it wrong.

Because the steel balls Tamiya supplies are $hit and you'd be better off buying some cheap, generic ceramic ones. I've got my TA-03 ball diff cranked right down and it's still smooth.
Yep..^^^^ditch the stock balls, they are junk. ceramic's are the way to go.

Should I ditch the thrust bearing also?

Naw, it's okay. Just keep an eye on it.
