Thanks Myx and Shockwave. Those are wise words. I am still trying to decide. I might go for it. I'll try to feel out my driving and my car this Saturday.

Jzone - I was going to run a few practice laps with you this coming race just to gauge my driving and my car, but I am going to be late coz we have some ppl coming over for lunch.

Live long and prosper!

Beam me up Scottie!

BTW - MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. I just got a 7even verII for Xmas, wow, it looks very promising. I am waiting on a few tools to arrive and I will begin assembly (can't wait!!). Anyway, I will probably have more than my fair share of questions in the near future, so I thought I would say hi. Later..

Welcome to the 7even forum lizard. I hope you like the 7even as much as I did. Please feel free to ask any questions you have on the car and we will try to answer them to the best of our abilities.

Thanks rcspeedo. Ok, let the fun begin.. What kind of tracks are you guys runnning on? I plan to race this car on a medium sized carpet track. It is pretty high grip ozite that is smooth. It's not real tight, but it's not a real sweeping track either. I run my Pro2 there now and can get away without alot of brake. What do you guys suggest about the one-way that comes with the kit? Do you guys run it? I ordered an extra regular front diff and plastic outdrives also. Any tips on assembly? Thanks guys...

Welcome to the 7even forum...lizard...

I'm sure there's a lot of info on this forum if you look back on the pages. There's plenty of help from a lot racers here who drives RCLAB Touring Car ranging from 5.2ttt to the 6.0 VerII.No worries, just ask what ever the questions might be ...stupid or not. You'll never know if you don't ask.Questions will be answered.

Chrisman

P/S.BTW we run our frt one ways.I have been for a longest time.I tried full time drive, found it slower in corners and not as fast. But everyone drives differently.Try the oneways and see if you improve on the lap times compared to your Pro 2.and go from there.Running stock would be a benificial for you since you have an idea of not using much braking.Try stock settings and see how you like it.Explore the car settings and make small changes not big ones.Write settings down to see what works well for you. This may help in the long run.Are you running on foams??....They do have a different set ups too.. all of us here still runs rubber tires on Ozite carpet.Hope this help.cheers...!!

Thanks for the info chrisman-i'll do that. I run stock on rubber tires. I will definitely do alot of 'expirementing' with the one-way, and car in general That's half the fun-right? Later...
