Go back and look through the thread for posts by IndyRC_racer. He's been running TC3's for over 2 1/2 years in VTA and knows everything you'll need.

Hotel is once again the Gurnee Grand, make sure you mention Harbor Hobbies for the $55 room rate.

If everything comes together, you will not want to miss this one. Remember the "curbs of death"....................only better

Original standard gear was a 72 spur (48 pitch) which I guess would mean a 42/43 pinion. Are these available or just will not fit? (again AE recommended a 19-28 pinion range)

Do the brushless motors just have tons more torque to spin the gearing?
pm Indy and he will hook you up...

another question......for Indy in Feb and the Scale Nats in April....will tire tread be teched?...or does it matter?.....or and that one-way thing?...legal or foul?

Eric has a deal with..."The Gurnee Grand hotel, make sure you mention Harbor Hobbies for the $55 room rate"

If you are looking up price line....or something like that. Zion, IL and Gurnee, IL are the two largest cities closest to Harbor Hobbies that have hotels.

Just to let you guys know, I'm going to assemble a list of suggested tires for USGT. This will not be an exclusionary list, but it will be a way to see what you can use. 4 26mm (front) VTA tires will be legal for USGT, as an example.

This is not meant to be an exclusive list, but one to be able to see some of what is out there. I am thinking rather than a price limit, I will wind up changing the tire rule to read UNBELTED treaded tire. Most tires that fit the description also fall into the correct price range.

I dont know if the entry fee is set yet....I know Eric has used RC signups in the past I dont know if he will do it for this year or not? But I would think once the entry fee is set then you can send in your payment at any time.

Its the Nationals so all the USVTA rules will be followed so you will need a driver figure.
